10m-80m HF Mobile “screw-driver” gear-motor antennas made by Jerry Clement, VE6AB – SK

Accepting bids on two custom built HF Mobile Antennas (10m-80m) that were made by master builder Jerry Clement, VE6AB – SK. Refer to the attached photos taken from his webpage www.jerryclement.ca

Each antenna is being sold separately and will include a whip element. Each antenna terminates to a High-Q mount, and + –  power leads….there is no antenna controller included.

The two antennas differ slightly in design.

  • Antenna #1 has a coil that is stationary with the actuator that moves up and down the coil….this keeps the maximum height of the antenna constant. The motor is external to the antenna shaft.
  • Antenna #2 is a more conventional design with a coil that moves up and down, variable height and embedded motor in the antenna shaft.

The antennas will be available for viewing at the next flea market in Calgary (SARA Flea Market on Saturday, November 4th at the Eastside City Church). Additional Flea Market details found at https://saralink.ca/
