Product Overview
This Model 6610 Network Probe is a hand held,
menu-driven system of instruments
designed to isolate and diagnose problems
occurring in data communications networks
and computer systems.
It is capable of monitoring digital and/or
analog communications systems operating
at speeds up to 19,200 bits per second
in the full duplex mode.
By operator selection, the Network Probe becomes
one of the following types of instruments:
1. Data Line Monitor/Emulator
2. Bit Error rate Tester (BERT & BLERT)
3. Buffered Asynchronous Terminal
4. RS232-C/V.24 Lead Status Monitor
Use to capture older PLC password exchanges
to decode and access protected programs
This takes some advanced knowledge
of the particular PLC protection and
ascii data transfer methods
