5-Element ‘Convertible’ Yagi, Quad or V-beam…

And now for something UNIQUE — or at the very least ‘different’: a VERY LARGE custom-built HF antenna….

It consists of 5 Elements on a 3″ DIA 30′ long single-piece boom!

The robustly-made boom-to-mast plate is designed for a 3″ mast — 3″ ID massive horizontal pillow-block/thrust-bearing also available — & has a multi-tap balun in a hermetically sealed aluminium box attached.

The ~elegant/robustly-made boom-to-element moveable [longitudinally along the boom] weldments are ‘convertible‘ in that they have Yagi, Quad & V-beam mounting stubs for the elements/spreaders!

Yagi elements for 20m included — but there is no reason why this could not be configured as a 20/40m duo-bander, or even a pure 40m beam….

Will sell for the cost of materials + a case of good Central European beer.

FWIW I have the most powerful/efficient/effective 20m self-built 5-element yagi in Victoria — & would love for the next owner/operator of this beam to take that title away from me!

Reason for selling: the beam is too ‘wide’ for my tower location — & I’m too old to upgrade/relocate it….
