HY-GAIN 3-element HF Duo-Bander

HF PROPAGATION is BACK !!!

And now for something ~rare/different — in the antenna building/re-building world….

I have a relatively rare/’un-obtainium’ old HY-GAIN 3-element Duo-Bander — possible model DB-1520 [but I can’t find ‘the book of words’] — that has been languishing in my basement for decades! It’s partially dis-assembled, surplus to my needs & ready for your ‘detailing’, re-assembly & FUN !!!

This Duo-Bander is a compact 3-element, 2-band ‘full power’ beam designed — IF I recall, for the 20 & 15 or 20 & 17 meter amateur bands — featuring lighter over-all weight [than say a TH-3 chiefly because of 6 fewer traps] w/ good gain & F/B on a 13′ boom requiring a relatively small turning radius of <15′.

This should be of interest to anyone needing a relatively small, light but robustly-built 3-element HF beam say for DXpeditions, Field Day, or a space-constrained QTH.
