I’ve restored this 1970-era Heathkit IP-27 bench power supply, and it looks pretty darn good now. The old sticky paint has been sanded off and new paint applied. All electrolytics have been replaced, and it works well.
This regulated supply puts out up to 50 volts, and provides current limiting at up to 1.5 amps. Perfect for small bench projects. Here’s a link to an article about this power supply. The modification mentioned on page 3 has been done.
